Ostia Antica Jewish

Ostia Antica is the oldest Etruscan and Roman port, over 2,700 years old. It is right on the shores of the Mediterranean Sea, near this port, where the oldest synagogue in the Mediterranean stands. Recently, they even found a mikveh there. So, there is a very interesting Jewish district, and those who want to discover this ancient Roman city from a Jewish perspective will have a great reward. Ostia Antica is about 22 to 25 kilometers from the center of Rome, and you can get there by either a small train or a private car, which takes you and brings you back. The tour in total takes 5 hours, including the transport.
